Wealth of experience allows a man to be glamorous. After going through madness in his 20's, confused and lost in his 30's and finally being ushered into the limelight in his 40's, Kevin Cheng exudes a different kind of calmness and truth. He handles things around him calmly, slows down his pace and peacefully speaks of his feelings of despair and helplessness in the past. He has acted in many roles, has experienced various lifestyle. A road of ups and downs, he finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel. His journey is full of crossroads but that gave him direction. With every twist and turn, rise and fall, some chooses to move with the crowd but he chooses to go upstream. Some people end up devastated but he was always ready to move ahead. Questioning life, he took a break from music. Today, bringing his life experience, he is back.

他終於帶來了加盟香港英皇唱片後的第一首主打歌《說來話長》。
He finally releases his first single since joining EEG - Long Story.
為隆重其事嘉穎百忙中抽出3天時間從香港來到寶島再開車兩個小時到東北邊的海拍攝了這個充滿小島風情的MV，更邀請公司小師妹衛詩雅擔綱女主角。要在短短的3天內完成兩首MV，兩集微電影對於平時習慣日以繼夜拍劇的嘉穎而言全無難度。整個故事從鄭嘉穎來到古董相機店跟老闆的對話分享開始，經過彼此深入的對話…最後的帶出「每個人都有說來話長的故事，願我們都能在故事裡記得最愛的人…」
To mark the occassion, Kevin took 3 days off his busy schedule and traveled from Hong Kong to Taiwan, driving 2 hours to the East Coast to film the music video. Wei Shi Ya, who is also from the same company, guest stars in the video. To finish 2 music videos in 3 days plus 2 episodes of a mini-film for someone who shoots around the clock like Kevin is not difficult. The story begins from Kevin's conversation with the owner of the antique camera shop. Through their intensive dialogue the final message is brought out - everybody has their own long story, may we all learn to appreciate the people we love.....

ReplyDelete你好， 在2013年9月16日，新加坡建国总理李光耀欢庆90大寿。同一天，马共前书记陈平逝世，享年89岁。生与死， 快乐与哀伤，是人生路途必见的场景。李光耀和陈平，皆是马新建国历史的见证人。两人共同经历马来西亚，五十年代政治风潮的人物，竟在同一天经历生与死，人生之巧合与无常，莫过于此，李光耀一生荣耀，；历史自有公平论断。陈平一生功与过，却盖棺未定，连回归故土的遗愿也无法实现，嘉颖。

ReplyDelete你好，法院在２００９年驳回陈平返国的上诉申请，人死了，政府竟严禁他的遗体或骨灰回国。对陈平来说，无疑是故国战望路漫漫，落叶归根梦已断。在１９８９年１２月２日，马共与马来西亚及泰国政府签署合艾和平协议之后，马共已成历史名词，政府严禁一个死人归国长眠故土，显然缺乏开明与宽容的气度。２００１年，曾踏足互洞第１０和平村，获得马共成员和他们的家人热情款待，并实地了解马共当年在马泰边界的游击生涯，嘉颖。

ReplyDelete你好，马共在漫长４０年的武装战斗中，穿竣于马泰边界的深山森林，日以继夜地展开他们的临时驻扎，长期隐蔽与大队转移，小队出击的作战方式，不但要防天空的战机，亦须防脚下的地雪，为吃一口饭还须不厌其烦地做藏粮，查粮和挖粮的繁琐工作，嘉颖。

Finally, after so many years of patiently waiting for the right moment, Kevin has attained his other great ambition and that is to be able to produce what he has long had in mind, this piece of work and more to come. I do wish him all the best and hope that this great venture of his, to be able to sing again, will be a promising and successful one. Good for you, Kevin!
