Regarding reports about him refusing to work with Charmaine, Kevin denied reports when asked yesterday: "We are still very good friends, I am even thinking of approaching her to star in my productions but of course that is very much dependent on her schedule."
外界关心《步步惊心2》目前的进展，郑嘉颖说剧本还在改，接演与否和什么时候演都还没确定：“因为目前本子还在改，不知道什么时候可以拍，包括奇隆他们都还没确定。我是希望大家可以再合作，看明年能不能确定。”
As for Scarlet Heart's sequel, Kevin says that the script is still being edited. Whether he will star in it or not is still not confirmed: "Because the script is still being edited, we do not know when shooting will start. Everybody, including Nicky has not confirmed if we will star in the sequel. I hope that we will get to work together again but let's see if we can finalise this next year."

“谁说我拒绝和她合作，明年我的戏都准备找她一起演。”昨晚，郑嘉颖亮相成都为商业活动站台。对于港媒称他拒绝与前女友佘诗曼合作，郑嘉颖昨天在接受华西都市报记者采访时断然否认，称两人依旧是朋友关系。《步步惊心》爆红之后，“八爷”郑嘉颖紧锣密鼓筹备自己的工作室，明年下半年，由其当制片人的第一部戏将开拍，正式升级老板。昨晚活动吸引了大批粉丝，现场人气相当旺，八爷与粉丝握手时，保安劈手阻隔，没想到劈中郑嘉颖手腕，让他颇为不悦。

He claims that they are still very good friends. After Scarlet Heart rose him to stardom, 8th Prince Kevin Cheng busied himself with setting up his own production company and plans to start shooting later part of 2013. The event last night attracted huge crowd of followers. While he was shaking hands with fans, security forced them apart and accidentally hurt Kevin's wrist. Kevin was quite upset with that.

保安“误伤”郑嘉颖
昨日，人气爆棚的“八爷”还没出现，活动现场已经被数百粉丝围得水泄不通。记者晚上6：00赶到现场，除了拿手牌的粉丝之外，还挂起后援会的横幅，受欢迎程度可见一斑。晚上6：30活动开始，郑嘉颖在工作人员的护送下，穿着西装亮相现场，粉丝的尖叫更是要掀翻屋顶。
Our reporters arrived at the scene at 6pm. Event started at 6.30pm, Kevin appeared along with security in a suit.
郑嘉颖说，这是他第一次到成都，成都影迷的热情让他非常感动，希望在接下来宣传新戏或者休息的时候，都可以常来成都。甚至明年出新专辑，也期待到成都办歌迷见面会。不过粉丝的热情，让现场一度混乱，连带郑嘉颖被“误伤”。
Kevin says this is his first time in Chengdu. He is extremely touched by the warmth of Chengdu fans and hope to be able to visit Chengdu again more often next time whether for work or leisure. He also hopes to make Chengdu one of his stops when he promotes his new album next year. However because of fans' enthusiasm, the scene was chaotic and Kevin was accidentally hurt in the event.
在活动结束前，郑嘉颖准备退场，粉丝则高呼偶像名字，郑嘉颖走到台边，与粉丝握手。没想到身旁的保安立刻“手刀”往下劈，但不偏不倚正好劈在郑嘉颖的手腕上。郑嘉颖表情立刻皱成一团，一边退场，一边狂甩手，不过还是尴尬地对粉丝笑笑，表达歉意。
Kevin was preparing to leave the venue and fans started screaming his name. Kevin walked to the edge of the stage to shake his fan's hands. Unexpectedly, one of the security crew "chopped" them off immediately and it hit Kevin's wrist. Kevin's expression changed immediately and was shaking his hands in pain as he walked off the stage but still maintaining an awkward smile towards his fans to express his apologies.

不介意与旧爱佘诗曼合作
今年上海电视节期间，郑嘉颖曾说自己也准备开个人工作室，除了演戏之后，也有兴趣当老板投资戏剧，还开玩笑说向吴奇隆取经。如今半年过去了，郑嘉颖当老板的第一部剧也已经确定：“现在正在挑选剧本，顺利的话，明年下半年应该就会开拍，算是我当制片人的第一部剧。”
Earlier this year, Kevin confirms that he plans to open his own production company and hopes to get some tips from Nicky Wu. Kevin confirms that the first production is already on the books: "We are now into selecting the right script for the show. If everything goes well, shooting will start later part of 2013."
TVB明年有意拉拢他与旧爱佘诗曼合拍新剧，不过被郑嘉颖拒绝，引来“狂摆阿哥款”的恶名。不过昨天他在成都断然否认，还说要找佘诗曼合作自己的戏：“这都是香港媒体说的，我没说过。我们还是好朋友关系，甚至我的戏也想找她来演，当然要看她的档期合不合适。”
TVB has plans to hook him up with ex-girlfriend Charmaine in a series next year but was refused by Kevin, attracting rumours that he was being difficult. But Kevin strongly denied this report yesterday and claims that he is planning to invite Charmaine to star in his own production: "These are all made up by the Hong Kong media. I have never said that before. We are still very good friends and I even have plans to get her to star in my production if her schedule fits."
As for Scarlet Heart's sequel, Kevin says that the script is still being edited. Whether he will star in it or not is still not confirmed: "Because the script is still being edited, we do not know when shooting will start. Everybody, including Nicky has not confirmed if we will star in the sequel. I hope that we will get to work together again but let's see if we can finalise this next year."
