Do you have problems deciding how to dress for different occasions? Do you stand in front of your wardrobe full of clothes but still do not know what to wear? In this issue, Men's Style has got together with superstar Kevin Cheng to come up with different styles for different occasions to bringing you closer to becoming a fashionista.

MS: In a big event, how will you normally dress to stand-out?
Kevin: Men have limited choices compared to the ladies. The most traditional being black suits. But personally, I prefer to have a little color - for example red, purple etc
MS: How will you accessorize yourself?
Kevin: Basically a pocket napkin for the jacket, bow, ties

MS: When you need to attend public business functions, what will be your choice?
Kevin: Nice slim cut business suit
MS: Do you have any particular favorite cut/style?
Kevin: I prefer slim cut. I am on the thinner side so slim cuts will suit me better.
MS: Do you pay special attention to how a single piece of item can impact the overall look/feel?
Kevin: Of course! I think the single most important item that can affect the whole look of a suit is the shirt. Most people thinks that as long as the suit looks good, that's good enough but that is not the case. If a suit looks good on a person depends on the collar of the shirt inside. There are in fact a various type of collar especially in Hong Kong where there are a lot of places where you can get your shirts tailor made. Many of my shirts have its own KC style.

Occasion: Private gatherings, celebratory dinners
MS: When you have private gatherings with your friends, where do you usually go?
Kevin: It is not convenient gathering in public places so what we do is we gather a someone's house - we'll cook and just catch up.
MS: What do you normally wear to such gatherings?
Kevin: I will be extremely casual if it's at one of our homes like jeans but I will usually top it up with a nice jacket. In winter, it will usually be a leather jacket. If it is a formal dinner, I will usually come in suits to go with the occasion. I will still add something but will not be extreme.

MS: You have been extremely busy the past 6 months having completed 3 dramas in Mainland China. Your schedule moving forward doing promotional work is also full - are you adjusting well?
Kevin: Promotional events are not what's keeping me busy. Filming is the one that is really taking up the most of my time but filming in Mainland China, as compared to TVB is actually much more relaxed. At least I get 8 hours of sleep everyday.
MS: You are a frequent flyer - what do you do onboard to occupy yourself or destress?
Kevin: If I am in the middle of filming a drama, I will usually read my script onboard. Otherwise, I will listen to songs, read or sleep.
MS: What do you wear onboard?
Kevin: I will put on something comfortable like T-shirt, jeans, sneakers and a cap.

MS: What do you usually wear on a normal day?
Kevin: On a normal day, I am very simple - just a T-shirt and pants/trousers and I'm out of the door.
MS: As a public figure, what is one thing that you cannot leave the house without on a normal day?
Kevin: Sunglasses/shades
MS: Do you have a single item that you collect?
Kevin: Definitely watches. I love collecting watches. Looking at them now, they are really quite costly. But every men should have at least a good watch.
