Mingpao 03 March 2014: Will stay back in Hong Kong to film new TVB drama
鄭嘉穎前晚出席IFPI香港唱片銷量大獎，憑專輯《說來話長》奪得「十大銷量國語唱片」。今年5月將回巢拍攝無新劇《天眼》，有指他為此推掉兩部大陸劇，損失2000萬元人民幣？鄭嘉穎未有正面回答，只說傳媒經常將焦點放在錢銀上。他表示之前不斷拍攝內地劇，由於當中有不少動作場面致周身傷，至今仍未完全康復，所以今年留港拍攝《天眼》，正好給自己一個休息機會。提到《天眼》也有不少動作場面，鄭嘉穎希望劇組能將這些戲分排到最後，好讓他能有更多時間復元。
Kevin Cheng attended IFPI Hong Kong album sales awards on 01 March 2014. His EP "Long Story" took back the Top 10 Mandarin album sales award. He will be back in TVB this may to shoot 《天眼》. There were reports claiming that he had to decline 2 offers in Mainland China putting him RMB20million poorer. Kevin did not refute this claim outwardly but said that the media always focus on his wages. This TVB drama offer came at the right time - he has sustained numerous injuries due to the many fight scenes in his Mainland dramas. By taking up TVB's drama, he is able to stay put in Hong Kong and focus on recuperating. In this new drama, Kevin will play a cop alongside Ruco Chan. It seems that 《天眼》 involves quite some action scenes as well. To this, Kevin hopes that the film crew is able to arrange these scense to be shot last allowing him more time to recover from old injuries.

Hua Xu Ying's shooting will wrap up today and Kevin is expected to return to Hong Kong in 2 days.

Shooting officially wrapped up last night (21 May 2013) with Kevin shooting the last scene and the final cut was called out at 23:06hours.
Kevin will be flying back to Hong Kong today (22 May 2013) on flight KA621, departing Hangzhou at 15:35hours

Ip Man will be aired globally in March 2013 and in Hong Kong, TVB has bought the rights to air.

Apperance: TVB 45th Birthday Dinner Gala
Every year, TVB will have a dinner gala for all its staff. To accommodate the number of staff they have, the dinner has to be done in 2 batches.
The first of two kicked off last night in Hong Kong, with 179 tables 1800 staff members including actors and actresses. Those who attended the dinner last night includes Kate Tsui, Myolie Wu, Eric Tsang, Wayne Lai, Moses Chan, Mandy Wong etc.
The 2nd batch to be held tonight will have 153 tables and attendees include Kevin Cheng, Fala Chan, Kenneth Ma, Nancy Sit etc
We will expect reports and pictures to be available tomorrow so watch this space!

News Flash: Kevin hurt, flying back to Hong Kong!
Kevin hurt himself during filming today. We understand that he was punched in the eye and it was bleeding but he insisted on finishing the scene before being rushed to hospital.
Tomorrow's Dior appearance is officially cancelled because Kevin has taken the night flight back to Hong Kong to seek treatment. We hear that injury is not light but not serious either. I will continue to update this page if I get anymore news. At this moment, this is all I know.

Kevin was rushed to the hospital the moment he arrived in Hong Kong at midnight last night. He called Virginia Lok the moment he landed and she was already waiting for him at the hospital. Kevin's good friend Ben was also there at the hospital waiting when he arrived. Kevin was warded for a day.
Reporters met him at both the airport and hospital. Kevin acted very strong and also joked with the reporters who came, asking everybody not to worry, just a small injury. He also posted on his weibo asking his fans not to worry but Virginia Lok revealed that he required stitches and the injury is pretty bad. She also revealed that Kevin was pretty frustrated because he still has events, appearances plus the shooting to complete. Because of his injury, he will have to stop working for a period of time. Also, Miss Lok revealed that Kevin was in fact trying to act tough facing the public because he told her he is actually in a lot of pain.

Kevin hurt himself during filming!
Kevin returned to Hong Kong 2 days ago to start shooting for TVB's 2013 calendar. Shooting started yesterday and he will be returning to Kunshan today to continue filming Ip Man. Kevin, along with Moses Chan, Wayne Lai and Myolie Wu will be represent November 2013 :)
He was spotted with a bloodshot right eye during the shooting yesterday. Kevin revealed that due to the heavy fight scenes which he is involved in, his right eye's capillaries burst but it's nothing serious.
When asked about his upcoming album, Kevin reveals that it will not be possible to finish recording this year as he wanted to anymore because he already has another TV series lined up right after he's finished filming Ip Man. But he will take time out to attend TVB's 45th birthday celebration.
