9月6日，郑嘉颖以一袭正装亮相上海，出席某商业活动。电视剧《叶问》拍摄正酣，此番忙里偷闲抵沪站台，郑嘉颖心情不错，现场还与粉丝互动签名。最近，刘德华将回到TVB拍剧，而圈中不少花旦女星纷纷有意重回TVB与其搭戏，对此，郑嘉颖在采访中表示：“你觉得奇怪吗?我觉得很正常，谁不想跟刘德华拍戏，他有二十年没拍电视剧了，如果有机会的话，也可以找找我。”
September 6th, Kevin Cheng appeared in an event today dressed up in suit. With Ip Man shooting going on, Kevin took time off his busy schedule to attend this event. Kevin was in a jovial mood yesterday, even stopping to interact and autograph for fans who attended to show their support. Recently, Andy Lau has confirmed his return to TVB, and many female leads within the industry have made their intention known that they are interested to work alongside Andy. To this, Kevin, during an interview, said "Do you find it weird? I think it is very normal. Who doesn't want to work with Andy Lau? He hasn't shot a TV series in 20 years. If there is an opportunity, I hope they can look me up too."

谈到《叶问》，郑嘉颖坦言如今已学会了十多种拳法。每天下戏，回酒店就对着木桩人“开打”。至于多版本叶问的比较，郑嘉颖说：“我自己有看过甄子丹的，梁朝伟的那部还没有出来，但是电影跟电视剧其实真的很难比较，比如说一场打戏，电影会拍一个多星期，我们电视剧一天要拍十几场戏，连打戏的，所以没办法比较。电视剧的篇幅比较长，观众可以看到他从小到青年再到中年，一起成长，我相信观众更能融入到这个人物的感情里。”
Speaking of Ip Man, Kevin admitted that till date, he has learn more than a dozen Wing Chun style. He will practice on his dummy every night after he returns to his hotel room. As to comparison between the different versions of Ip Man, Kevin says "I have watched Donnie Yen's version but Tony Leung's will only be released later this year. To be honest, it is very difficult to compare movie and TV series. For example, a fight scene, it will take about a week to film for a movie but for a TV series, we are required to film more than a dozen scenes a day including fight scenes so the it is not comparable. Duration of a TV series is much longer, audiences are able to grow together with Ip Man from when he's a kid to youth to adulthood. I believe audiences will be able to feel the character better.
常年在外拍戏，郑嘉颖称自己一年中，大部分时间都是在酒店住的，而此番化身精英人士出席希尔顿荣誉客会体验中心揭幕活动，他表示自己平日住酒店非常注重细节，比如一些贴心的服务，拖鞋，水果盘，中国茶等。目前，郑嘉颖正在筹备将于明年冬天开拍的电视剧，现正在找人写剧本，同时他也将成立自己的工作室投资这部大戏，且将力邀圈中好友出演。
Due to work, Kevin spends most of his time on the road shooting/filming. He claims that he spends most of his days in a year living out of his luggage in a hotel. As a guest of honor attending the unveiling of Hilton HHonors Experience Center, he claims that he pays a lot of attention to details when staying in a hotel such as personalized services, slippers, fruit basket, Chinese tea etc. At the moment, Kevin is preparing for the drama which will begin shooting next winter. He is currently looking for a scriptwriter and at the same time, will establish his own studio to invest in this big production. He will also invite friends from the industry to star in this drama.
