《天幕下的恋人》的俊朗，《怒火街头》的不拘，《步步惊心》的儒雅……近日，因在多部剧集中演技精湛而人气骤升的“视帝”郑嘉颖来沪出席酒店宣传活动。活动前，KC接受本报记者独家专访，侃侃而谈他最爱的建筑师、最喜欢的城市以及心水的香港茶餐厅，展现他荧屏背后的另一面。

去年热播的穿越剧《步步惊心》捧红了刘诗诗、林更新等一批演艺新生代，也让内地观众重新认识TVB视帝郑嘉颖。片中KC饰演的八爷温润儒雅，文质彬彬，谦谦君子的形象深入人心。此次专访约在黄浦江沿岸的上海外滩华尔道夫酒店，亦如“八爷”非凡气韵，在总统套房候场时的郑嘉颖俊朗帅气，一身KENT&CURWEN的灰色格子西服，尽显英伦绅士范儿。采访前日从电视剧《叶问》剧组赶到上海市区的他风尘仆仆，好在当晚卧拥外滩夜景入寐，专访时已神采奕奕。“昨晚入住后就觉得酒店从装修到服务，细节部分都做得很好”，郑嘉颖微笑道，观察一家酒店的品质首先会看水果盘，水果的种类、数量如何，继而留意拖鞋、浴袍是否舒服，“因为最近在赶拍《叶问》，会在房间里放个木桩，空闲时练咏春拳，所以酒店浴缸也很重要，全身疲累后，可以泡一泡澡。”
Scarlett Heart which was released last year brought fame to Cecelia Liu, Kenny Lin etc - the new generation of actors and actresses in China. It also allowed Mainland audiences to get acquainted with TVB TV King Kevin Cheng. In the show, KC plays 8th Prince - a man portrayed to be elegant, gentleman and gentle which was deeply crusted into the hearts of the audience. This interview took place at Shanghai Bund Waldorf Astoria Hotel. In the presidential suite, Kevin, dressed in a Kent & Curwen gray plait suit exuding a charm of a British gentleman, waits for the interview to begin. He has just only arrived from the film set in Kunshan to Shanghai the day before but after a night's of good sleep he looks refreshed. "When I checked into the hotel last night, it is obvious that the hotel has put in a lot of effort from its renovation to service. A lot of attention have been put into its detail." Kevin smiles and says that he pays a lot of attention to details in the hotels he put up in like if there are any fruit baskets, the variety of fruits, how many fruits are there in the basket, any slippers in the room, is the robe comfortable. "Due to Ip Man, I need to put a wooden dummy in my room to practice my moves when I'm back in the hotel. Thus, the hotel's bathtub is also very important - when I'm tired, I can soak comfortably in it."

Due to a very pack schedule, Kevin has only spent less than 20 days at home so far, spending most of the year so far in hotel rooms. KC claims he has been upgraded to Exclusive member of certain hotels some time ago and is holding on to a lot of points accumulated from hotel stays. This time, he has been invited by Hilton HHonors to unveil the industry's first customer experience center, to understand the benefits and privileges of being a member. "Hilton Group has more than 3900 hotels worldwide. There are a lot of privileges and benefits for members to choose from for example using points in exchange for free night stays, upgrading your room etc," Kevin shares, "If I have time to go on vacation, I would like to use my points in France to go on a hot air balloon or to visit ride a Harley Davidson across the plain of California...."

在加拿大求学时，郑嘉颖主修土木工程，虽说学的是“盖房子”非设计，但对建筑也颇为关注，最欣赏的建筑师就是大名鼎鼎的贝聿铭。“我们念书的时候，就当他是神，因为他是中国人，还设计了香港的中国银行。我小时候……”，他莞尔一笑，“其实也不小了，看他盖中国银行就感觉很好奇，现在为止在香港欣赏夜景，中国银行还是很突出的建筑，香港没有一个建筑物可以与它相比。贝聿铭有很多很出彩而经典的作品，另外像是法国卢浮宫前的金字塔等。若以香港来说，我觉得中国银行最有代表性。就像上海，”他侧身转向外滩，指了指地标东方明珠、金茂大厦等建筑，“都蛮经典的”。
While studying in Canada, Kevin majored in Civil Engineering. Though his scope is towards building not designing but he is particularly interested in architecture and his favourite architect is the world famous IM Pei. "When I was in college, I thought he was God because he is a Chinese and he designed Hong Kong's Bank of China building. When I was a kid...." He smiled, "Actually not exactly that young, I was very curious when I saw that bank being built till now enjoying the night scene of Hong Kong, Bank of China is still a building that stands out. There is no one other building in Hong Kong that can measure up to that level of architecture. IM Pei has produced many exciting and classical works like the pyramid in front of the Louvre in France. Just like Shanghai," Kevin turned towards the Bund and pointed at the Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Tower etc, "are all classics."
中国香港、美国、加拿大……KC的求学生涯辗转各地，入行后因工作又跑了大半个地球，若说最钟爱的城市，他脱口而出：“纽约！虽然没有住过，但去过好几次，纽约给我的感觉就像是magic box，那里什么人种都有，黄种人、白人、黑人……但有很和谐的一面，不同的文化在那里很融合。意大利街的旁边就是中国城，很奇怪，你走过两个街区就到了一个不同的地区，看到的人也全然不同。纽约包罗万象，时尚的，有很多设计；艺术的，可以去百老汇；休闲的，可在中央公园跑步……它会给你完全不同的感觉。我也很喜欢纽约的建筑，帝国大厦那些已经很旧了，但当时就能够盖成这样，很了不起。我还去了9.11事件撞击的双子大厦遗址，两栋高楼如今只剩废墟，那种感觉无以言表，多少人一夜之间家破人亡……”郑嘉颖唏嘘不已。
Hong Kong, United States and Canada are countries which KC has studied in. After joining the industry, due to the nature of his job, he has traveled half the globe. When asked what is his favourite city, he replied without hesitation "New York! Have never lived there before but have been there a couple of times. To me New York feels like a magic box. You can find different characters there - yellow skin, white skin, black skin....but they live harmoniously, a mix of different cultures. Next to Little Italy is Chinatown - so weird. You walk down two streets and again you are at a different area - the people in there are totally different from 2 streets before. New York is very exciting and has many faces. Fashion - there are a lot of designs; arts - there is the Broadway; to relax - there is the Central Park where one can jog....it gives me a very different feeling. I love New York's architecture - the Empire State Building etc are old building but they were able to produce such architecture/buildings during that era which is incredible. I have also visited the site where Twin Towers used to stand grandly but are only left with rubles today - an indescribable feeling when you think about how many people lost their family over night...." Kevin marvels.

虽然早些年郑嘉颖曾出演剧集《美味风云》，于片中饰演烹饪高手，但大家对他的吃货印象大多来自近年热播的《怒火街头》。加之KC在微博上，常常与粉丝分享他的午饭、宵夜……其中，出镜率最高的便是——面。“霸爷”爱吃面，“粉”尽皆知，据说那是因为TVB常常出现“你饿吗，我去煮面给你吃”的对白，这句话他说了很多遍，“我平常也常常吃面，因为拍戏没什么时间，最方便就是煮个方便面，都是用最快的方法吃饱就行。其实开工期间，我对吃没啥要求，能吃饱有力就好。面是最方便的食物，所以我就爱它。”
Although Kevin has played a chef in an early drama before but it was Ghetto Justice that presented a glutton to the audience plus KC is always seen sharing pictures of his meals (lunch, supper etc) with his fans on Weibo. The most commonly see food item is actually noodles. All his fans know that KC loves noodles. "I eat a lot of noodles because of my work, I don't have much time to prepare fancy stuff. The most convenient being instant noodles. During filming, I am not picky with food. I just need to fill my stomach so noodles present itself to be the most convenient that's why I love it."
听KC聊面头头是道，请他推荐一家茶餐厅，他笑了笑，鱼尾纹得瑟地游出来，“很奇怪哦，我推荐一家我还没去过的”，记者无语，他窃喜，“是《怒火街头》里演我表弟米佐治的林子善在大坑开的龙凤冰室。只开了一个多星期，因为开业的时候，我不在香港，还没机会去尝，但是想推荐上海的朋友们光顾。”至于他的地盘——深水埗的美食，“Law霸”如数家珍，“有很多小吃，譬如鱼蛋、鱼丸之类的，很多家都蛮好吃的。有一家的面很特别，虾子捞面，煮法简单，但因为用竹筒打面，所以面条很滑爽，再放上很多虾籽，淋上猪油，很好吃。说得我都……”KC不禁卖萌，咽了咽口水补充说，“那家店很出名的还有猪手，另外牛腩等也都可以配面吃，总之很多小吃都很出彩，而且蛮便宜的。”
KC's explanation on why he loves noodles sound very logical. We asked him to recommend a Hong Kong cafe. He smiled, his crow feet showing "Weird but I will recommend one which I have never been", our reporter was stunned. "It's actually Dr Lam's (Mike Junior in Ghetto Justice) shop. It was only opened a week ago. I wasn't in Hong Kong when it opened so have not tried it yet but would like to recommend it to everybody to try it in case they are ever in Hong Kong." As to his territory Sam Sui Po's delicacies, Law Ba is very familiar "A lot of snacks can be found like fishballs. Delicious ones are everywhere. There is a noodle shop which is very unique - shrimp ramen - very simple way of cooking but because they use bamboo sticks to work the noodles, they turn out to be very smooth. By adding shrimps, pork lard - simply delicious. Just by talking about it......" KC can't stop acting cute, swallowed his saliva and continued, "The other specialty of that shop is pig's trotters, sirloin etc which you can eat it with noodles. In short, there are a lot of snacks which are really good and cheap."

聊到旅途中的挑战，霸爷坦言早年的一次“被冒险”。由于工作关系，他在澳大利亚体验高空跳伞和悬崖速降。“比那个楼还高”，KC指了指浦东的大楼，“你以为从飞机上跳下来害怕？其实不算可怕，因为后面有人顶你，你没得想，只能往下跳，‘那个’才怕！”他强调着，手指沿沙发边缘比划，作速降攀岩状，“其实我没有恐高症，但那么高，你要怎么爬下去，你人站在（悬崖）边上已经很害怕了，风又大，人还要‘酱紫’（向后倾斜），那时心好像要从嘴巴里跳出来。”十载已过，但回忆历历在目。这种极限体验以后不会再想了吧？“不一定，那是我一生觉得最可怕的时候，整个过程，你的心说不出来，但这都能做到，以后就没有什么可怕的了。”
Speaking about his adventures, he recalls an extreme adventure some years earlier. For work, he visited Australia where he experience sky diving and cliff rapplying. "It was higher than that building", KC pointed at Pudong tower, "You think jumping down from the plane is scary? Actually no because there is someone strapped to you. You didn't expect the only way is to jump down, "that" is scary!" he stressed while using his fingers tracing the edge of the sofa to imitate a downhill like action. "I am not afraid of heights but at that height, how are you ever going to climb down. You are standing at the edge of the cliff, already feeling nervous, the winds are strong and you are tilting backwards, trying hard to fight the wind. It felt as if my heart was going to jump out of my mouth." A decade has passed but the memories are still vivid. Will he ever try such extreme experience again? "I don't know. That experience was the scariest I have ever experience in my life. The whole process is indescribable. But if you can achieve it, there is nothing more to be afraid in the future."
郑嘉颖向记者透露，他计划明年开工作室，“已经找人帮忙写剧本了，明年应该会制作一部电视剧。希望上半年有时间休假。本来现在就是旅游的时间，可还在拍戏。”
Kevin revealed that he plans to open his own studio next year. "I have already found someone to write the script. Next year I should be producing a drama. Hope to go on a vacation first half of next year. In fact, I should be on a holiday somewhere right now but I am still filming."
谈到度假想去的目的地，他表示，“没去过的地方都想去，尤其是南美洲的巴西。看看四年后的奥运会有没有机会去巴西，因为没有看过奥运所以很遗憾，北京没来，伦敦也没机会去，这次本来TVB派我去的，可是没时间。”KC说，跟着赛事去旅行是他人生要做的几件事情之一，“奥运会一定要去看一次，世界杯要去一次，还有那些网球的大满贯一定要去，其实，那些著名的体育赛事我都想亲临现场，虽然有很多我还没做到，等以后有时间吧，现在最缺少的就是时间。”
When asked the possible holiday destination, he said "Those that I have not been especially Brazil. I hope that I will be able to make a trip there during Olympics in 2016. It is unfortunate that I have not been to any games - didn't manage to make it for both Beijing and London games. In fact, TVB wanted to send me over to London this time round but too bad I wasn't able to make any time for it." KC says one of the items on his must-do list is to travel with a tournament, "Olympic is a must see, at least once. World cup at least once and the tennis opens is also a must go. In fact, my hope to be able to attend the major tournaments at least once although I know I have not accomplished most of them. Maybe when I have more time then we'll see. The thing I am short of the most now is time."

听KC聊面头头是道，请他推荐一家茶餐厅，他笑了笑，鱼尾纹得瑟地游出来，“很奇怪哦，我推荐一家我还没去过的”，记者无语，他窃喜，“是《怒火街头》里演我表弟米佐治的林子善在大坑开的龙凤冰室。只开了一个多星期，因为开业的时候，我不在香港，还没机会去尝，但是想推荐上海的朋友们光顾。”至于他的地盘——深水埗的美食，“Law霸”如数家珍，“有很多小吃，譬如鱼蛋、鱼丸之类的，很多家都蛮好吃的。有一家的面很特别，虾子捞面，煮法简单，但因为用竹筒打面，所以面条很滑爽，再放上很多虾籽，淋上猪油，很好吃。说得我都……”KC不禁卖萌，咽了咽口水补充说，“那家店很出名的还有猪手，另外牛腩等也都可以配面吃，总之很多小吃都很出彩，而且蛮便宜的。”
KC's explanation on why he loves noodles sound very logical. We asked him to recommend a Hong Kong cafe. He smiled, his crow feet showing "Weird but I will recommend one which I have never been", our reporter was stunned. "It's actually Dr Lam's (Mike Junior in Ghetto Justice) shop. It was only opened a week ago. I wasn't in Hong Kong when it opened so have not tried it yet but would like to recommend it to everybody to try it in case they are ever in Hong Kong." As to his territory Sam Sui Po's delicacies, Law Ba is very familiar "A lot of snacks can be found like fishballs. Delicious ones are everywhere. There is a noodle shop which is very unique - shrimp ramen - very simple way of cooking but because they use bamboo sticks to work the noodles, they turn out to be very smooth. By adding shrimps, pork lard - simply delicious. Just by talking about it......" KC can't stop acting cute, swallowed his saliva and continued, "The other specialty of that shop is pig's trotters, sirloin etc which you can eat it with noodles. In short, there are a lot of snacks which are really good and cheap."

聊到旅途中的挑战，霸爷坦言早年的一次“被冒险”。由于工作关系，他在澳大利亚体验高空跳伞和悬崖速降。“比那个楼还高”，KC指了指浦东的大楼，“你以为从飞机上跳下来害怕？其实不算可怕，因为后面有人顶你，你没得想，只能往下跳，‘那个’才怕！”他强调着，手指沿沙发边缘比划，作速降攀岩状，“其实我没有恐高症，但那么高，你要怎么爬下去，你人站在（悬崖）边上已经很害怕了，风又大，人还要‘酱紫’（向后倾斜），那时心好像要从嘴巴里跳出来。”十载已过，但回忆历历在目。这种极限体验以后不会再想了吧？“不一定，那是我一生觉得最可怕的时候，整个过程，你的心说不出来，但这都能做到，以后就没有什么可怕的了。”
Speaking about his adventures, he recalls an extreme adventure some years earlier. For work, he visited Australia where he experience sky diving and cliff rapplying. "It was higher than that building", KC pointed at Pudong tower, "You think jumping down from the plane is scary? Actually no because there is someone strapped to you. You didn't expect the only way is to jump down, "that" is scary!" he stressed while using his fingers tracing the edge of the sofa to imitate a downhill like action. "I am not afraid of heights but at that height, how are you ever going to climb down. You are standing at the edge of the cliff, already feeling nervous, the winds are strong and you are tilting backwards, trying hard to fight the wind. It felt as if my heart was going to jump out of my mouth." A decade has passed but the memories are still vivid. Will he ever try such extreme experience again? "I don't know. That experience was the scariest I have ever experience in my life. The whole process is indescribable. But if you can achieve it, there is nothing more to be afraid in the future."
郑嘉颖向记者透露，他计划明年开工作室，“已经找人帮忙写剧本了，明年应该会制作一部电视剧。希望上半年有时间休假。本来现在就是旅游的时间，可还在拍戏。”
Kevin revealed that he plans to open his own studio next year. "I have already found someone to write the script. Next year I should be producing a drama. Hope to go on a vacation first half of next year. In fact, I should be on a holiday somewhere right now but I am still filming."
谈到度假想去的目的地，他表示，“没去过的地方都想去，尤其是南美洲的巴西。看看四年后的奥运会有没有机会去巴西，因为没有看过奥运所以很遗憾，北京没来，伦敦也没机会去，这次本来TVB派我去的，可是没时间。”KC说，跟着赛事去旅行是他人生要做的几件事情之一，“奥运会一定要去看一次，世界杯要去一次，还有那些网球的大满贯一定要去，其实，那些著名的体育赛事我都想亲临现场，虽然有很多我还没做到，等以后有时间吧，现在最缺少的就是时间。”
When asked the possible holiday destination, he said "Those that I have not been especially Brazil. I hope that I will be able to make a trip there during Olympics in 2016. It is unfortunate that I have not been to any games - didn't manage to make it for both Beijing and London games. In fact, TVB wanted to send me over to London this time round but too bad I wasn't able to make any time for it." KC says one of the items on his must-do list is to travel with a tournament, "Olympic is a must see, at least once. World cup at least once and the tennis opens is also a must go. In fact, my hope to be able to attend the major tournaments at least once although I know I have not accomplished most of them. Maybe when I have more time then we'll see. The thing I am short of the most now is time."
