近日，郑嘉颖由香港低调返回《叶问》剧组继续剩余戏份的拍摄工作。该剧已进入拍摄尾声阶段，除郑嘉颖外的众主演都已杀青，郑嘉颖在接下来的时日里将要独自奋战，与众武打演员们上演高强度打戏。演技口碑均属上乘的郑嘉颖此次勇于挑战接拍《叶问》考验重重，其坚强乐观的精神被赞堪比“叶问”。
Kevin returned recently to rejoin Ip Man's production crew to continue final shots of the series. The series is now into the final stages, apart from Kevin all other main characters have already wrapped up their parts. Kevin will take on the stage alone for the next couple of days (it has been reported that the crew will wrap up on 8th November 2012) with all his scenes being fight scenes with martial art experts. Kevin, who has an excellent reputation for his acting, has bravely taken up the challenge of playing Ip Man facing various tests and challenges. His optimism has been compared to that of Ip Man's.
郑嘉颖在短暂休养后早在3日就已返回剧组，近日记者探班，看到郑嘉颖眼伤处恢复不错，但还未完全愈合。郑嘉颖的武戏部分多是特写和近景，不好使用替身，拍摄临近杀青进度很赶，转场次数又多，所以郑嘉颖堪称全剧组最辛苦的人。不过他表示自己会全力以赴，也不会因伤影响到自己接下来的发挥。
After a short rest back in Hong Kong, Kevin returned to Kunshan on 3rd November. It is reported that Kevin's injury is healing nicely. All Kevin's remaining scenes are close-ups or close-range shots so substitutes will not be possible at this stage and because it is in its final stages plus he will need to be running between film sets, he will be the busiest person in the crew. But Kevin claims that he will give his best and will not allow his injury affect his performance.
郑嘉颖在拍剧期间因其平易近人得到了剧组众多工作人员的喜爱，此次养伤回来后还给不少工作人员带来了礼物。在剧中饰演郑嘉颖儿子的小演员昨日杀青就收到了来自这位剧中“爸爸”的杀青礼物，十分贴心。大批粉丝听闻郑嘉颖复工后赶来探班，问及伤情，郑嘉颖开玩笑的说：“我的那个医生不错哦，需要的话可以介绍。”治愈系暖男本质尽显。
