Kevin Cheng was down in Malaysia to celebrate Wong Kok Restaurant’s 10th Anniversary.
A little insight on who is Kevin Cheng..
Kevin Cheng Ka-Wing is an American-born Hong Kong actor and singer who is currently an artiste under the management of the Hong Kong television network TVB. Other than that, he is best known for his role as ‘Law Ba’ in the 2011 TVB legal drama ‘Ghetto Justice’ which earned him a TVB Anniversary Award for Best Actor.
These few years, he’s more focus on marketing himself in China and recently he’s busy promoting his new television drama series but he managed to take some time off his tight schedule to fly down to Malaysia and meet his fans as well as to celebrate Wong Kok Restaurant’s 10th Anniversary as he is the ambassador of the restaurant.
Since 2012, he started as an ambassador of Wong Kok Char Chan Teng because one of his television drama series titled ‘Ghetto Justice’ which he previously starred in as a character called ‘Law Ba’ who likes milk tea. More over, Wong Kok Restaurant’s signature drink is also milk tea and both his character in the television series and the milk tea really complement each other.
The meet & greet session with the fans had an overwhelming response. He gave out Wong Kok Char Chan Teng’s 10th Anniversary limited edition membership cards to his fans with the autograph of his character in ‘Ghetto Justice’ which was ‘Law Ba’. So, it was a situation best described with the phrase “killing two birds with one stone” as fans could get their hands on the limited edition membership cards and meet Kevin Cheng in person as well.
Wong Kok Char Chan Teng would like to thank everyone for the support given to them for the past 10 years. In return, they had a special promotion for their customers on the 7th of July 2013 which was a ringgit for a cup of milk tea.

Kevin Cheng has turned his focus to China absorbing as much RMB as he can. When the emcee asked if he is in Malaysia to look for a wife, Kevin turned from replying with a smile to finally shaking his head asking the emcee to stop stressing on this topic.
