憑內地劇《步步驚心》爆紅的鄭嘉穎轉戰賺人仔，劇酬已狂升至50萬港元一集，搖身變成吸金王的嘉穎，據知於過去短短半年間，豪擲三千萬於香港和美國掃入三層樓，包括洛杉磯物業、柏景灣和將軍澳天晉的單位，全部都是送給媽咪和家姐自住及收租，悉心照顧家人。嘉穎亦實樓市計劃再出擊，瞄準做樓王。
Kevin Cheng who gained superstardom with Scarlet Heart is working hard earning RMB, earning RMB500,000 per episode. Qianjiang Evening News 14 June 2013: Results are out, judge Kevin cannot reveal

“结果我们已经选出来了。但是我不能说。只能说有些（奖项）是（意见）一致的，有些有争议。”郑嘉颖跟记者打起太极。

"We have the results but I can't reveal. I can only say that there were awards where all judges had the same opinion but some were debated." Kevin tells reporter.

　　第19届上海电视节将于今晚闭幕并颁出新一年的白玉兰奖。这是郑嘉颖第一次受邀担任白玉兰电视剧单元的评委。之前，他虽然当过香港小姐、世界小姐等选美比赛的评委，但像上海电视节这么专业的评委还是第一次。

19th Shanghai TV Festival will close tonight and Magnolia Award will be handed out. This is Kevin's first judging experience in a TV festival. Prior to this, he has judged in Miss Hong Kong, Miss World etc beauty pageants.
