8th Prince Kevin Cheng attended a Dior event in Tianjin. He had rush from Hengdian's film set, tiredness was apparent but he still manage to maintain his humour, making fun of the reporters: "I came from Zhejiang, you have to be careful (bird flu)."
第一次来到天津，郑嘉颖下飞机后便从机场直接到酒店，再从酒店到活动现场，没有来得及驻足欣赏天津的美景，但给他留下最深刻印象的是光明桥和天津老式建筑物。“我只去了天津的机场和饭店，但在我印象中有个光明桥，蛮漂亮的。”郑嘉颖越说越兴奋，“还有很多老式的房子，因为我是学土木工程的，所以特别留意，挺旧的房子但保存得非常好，我很喜欢，下次再来我会仔细看看。”天津的特色美食是不少明星来天津不得不尝试的，可作为粉丝眼中的“吃神”，郑嘉颖却从没听说过，当得知天津的美食有狗不理包子和十八街麻花时，他说：“其实那个时候吃过(狗不理包子)，但是不是在天津，我走之前看看能不能买到吧！”
A first timer in Tianjin, Kevin was rushed to the hotel immediately after he landed and then directly to the event venue. He didn't have time to enjoy Tianjin's scenery but Guangming bridge and the old buildings in Tianjin have left an impression. "I have only been to the airport and hotel but I know there is a Guangming bridge which is quite pretty." He got more and more excited, "There are also a lot of old constructions. Because I am a trained civil engineer so I tend to pay a lot of attention to the buildings around me. Those houses are quite told but very well preserved. I like them very much. I will definitely take a closer look the next time I'm here." Many artistes visit Tianjin to taste its local specialties. As the glutton in fans' eyes, Kevin doesn't know that people travel all the way to Tianjin to eat. When he found out that "ignore the dog bun" and "18th street fried dough twist" are both from Tianjin, he said: "Actually I have eaten the bun before but not in Tianjin. Let's see if I get to buy them before I leave!"
1993年，郑嘉颖以歌手身份出道，2013年正值他入行第二十个年头，他透露最新的国语专辑正在紧张制作中，目前已经录制完成6首歌，但由于一直忙于拍戏，原本计划的专辑很有可能会变为EP。当完成《华胥引》拍摄后，郑嘉颖也将赶回香港，并赴台拍专辑封面、写真集。主打歌讲述郑嘉颖过去的故事，预计今年下半年会与歌迷见面。
Kevin Cheng entered the entertainment industry in 1993 as a singer and 2013 is the 20th year he's in this industry. He revealed that his Mandarin album is in the final stages of production with 6 songs recorded at the moment. Due to his busy filming schedule, it will most probably be released as an EP instead of a full fledge album. After finish shooting Hua Xu Ying, he will rush back to Hong Kong and then to Taiwan to shoot album cover and still album. The first single will tell Kevin's story of the past and is planned to hit the stores end 2nd half of the year.
作为时尚品牌的宠儿，郑嘉颖对自己的“里子”和“面子”同样在意，当问到《华胥引》中苏誉的造型问题时，他面露难色，说：“每个人的审美眼光都不一样，其实我一开始也觉得怪，但是其实看着看着就觉得顺眼了，这是导演和造型师决定的，不是我一个人说得算。”由于《华胥引》是一部偏重于科幻的电视剧，因此剧中造型和郑嘉颖曾拍过的清装戏、民国戏、时装戏截然不同，也算是一种新鲜的尝试。虽然苏誉的造型出乎观众和粉丝的意料，也遭到外界吐糟，但郑嘉颖希望大家也会觉得不错。记者随机针对苏誉造型采访了现场的粉丝，得到的答案是：“其实刚开始看《步步惊心》的海报时，也会觉得很别扭，但是后来还是被‘八爷’的温柔吸引了，所以我们都觉得当《华胥引》开播时，苏誉一定不会让我们失望。我们是KC死忠粉丝，无论他扮演什么我们都会喜欢他、支持他。
As the darling of fashion brands, Kevin takes very good care of his appearance. When he was asked about his styling in Hua Xu Ying, he replied: "Beauty is very subjective. In fact I thought I looked weird initially but after awhile, I got used to it and the look actually grew on me. This is something the director and creative director decided, not something I can overturn." As Hua Xu Ying is a science fiction, it is a vast different from the roles which Kevin has played in the past. Although the style of his character was kind of a shock to the public and have received much negative comments but Kevin hopes that the audience will find it acceptable. Reporters interviewed a couple of fans at the event to find out what they think about Kevin's look in Hua Xu Ying, and the reply was: "Actually when we first saw Scarlet Heart's posters, we also thought he looked awkward but in the end, we were all left breathless by 8th Prince so we feel that when Hua Xu Ying premieres, Su Yu will not let us down. We are diehard KC fans, no matter what character he plays, we will still love him and support him."
